Key Job Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to a group of catering/hospitality team members to achieve a successful event run.s
  • Allocate correctly tasks between the team members
  • Mitigate issues and emergencies on the floor
  • Mitigates issues between the team and other vendors presented on-site during the event
  • Control that everyone checks in on time and has uniform standards
  • Manage team's breaks
  • Give a full report including inventory, any damaged items, the overall success of the event, feedback for future events, etc.
  • Ensures accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Other tasks to achieve a successful event run
Requirements
  • Must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or have valid work authorization and SSN card
  • Must speak English
  • Ability to lift and carry up to forty-five (45) lbs
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as an event captain or similar
  • Great time management and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent leadership abilities and the ability to manage many staff members
  • Excellent communication abilities
