FAQ About Bartender For Hire LA

What happens if I cancel my bartending services?
For cancellations of bartending services that happen 2 days before your event, there is a 50% cancellation fee, and if you cancel your services 24 hours or less before your event, a 100% cancellation fee is incurred.
What if I suddenly need to acquire more bartenders for hire for my event?
As soon as you realize the need for more bartenders, please contact our offices directly so we can immediately coordinate the additional bartending staff you require.
Will the bartending staff help with cleanup once the event is concluded?
Our bartenders for hire can help assist with moving furniture and rentals to restore the event venue to its original condition. However, the bartenders are not responsible for cleaning such as mopping, sweeping, or more detailed cleaning methods. They can assist with collecting any garbage from the bar area and placing it in the proper receptacles in your direction.
If my event runs over more than the contracted time, can the bartenders stay longer? What will the fees be for extending hours?
As long as the bartenders are available they can stay longer. Please notify the team captain or event captain of the need to keep the bartending staff longer. The additional time will be charged at the same hourly rate.
Can I pay the bartenders for their extra time in person?
The bartenders may not receive any payment for extra hours directly. You must contact the office and they will update your invoice and show the adjusted amount post-event.
If I relieve the bartenders of their duties early, will I be reimbursed for that time?
There is a minimum agreed upon 5 hours that the bartenders for hire are contracted to work. If you release them from work before that minimum hour is achieved, you will not be reimbursed. If you contract them for 7 hours and release them after 6 hours, you will receive a 1-hour credit that you can then use towards your next invoice with Julia Valler.
Do you include gratuity in the final invoice?
Gratuity is not added to your invoice, it is at your discretion whether you wish to leave a tip for your bartenders or not. We can add gratuity to your final invoice at your request.
Will I have access to the bartender's contact information before the event?
In case our bartenders need to reach you before your event, they will have your contact information. If you need to get in touch with our bartenders, you can contact our office directly.
Do your bartenders for hire come with any bartending equipment?
The bartender will not come with any supplies aside from a wine key. Should you need any rentals for the bar, we can coordinate this for you through our third-party rental vendor. Please let your account executive know and they can handle it accordingly.
How many bartenders for hire should I obtain to take care of 100 guests?
Bartending services and staffing varies by event type and other more specific details. Our account managers can assist you with making professional recommendations on your particular bartending staffing needs. In general, we recommend 1 bartender per 50 guests.
What forms of payment do you accept for hiring bartenders?
We accept cash, credit card, check, and bank transfers as acceptable forms of payment for our event staff in Los Angeles.
Does your agency provide its clients with a COI for our event when we hire bartenders?
Yes, we can, please notify us as soon as possible if your event requires a COI to allow for processing time.
Do you provide liquor licenses for events you staff?
If the bar catering service is provided by our agency, we will then provide the liquor license. We do not provide the permit if you have received any liquor or beverages that have been donated or obtained by the client or anybody else.
Can I request specific alcohol or a specialty cocktail from my bartender for hire?
We will be more than happy to work with any custom bartending services that you request.
What options do you have in uniforms for the bartenders to wear?
You will be able to find out more about our uniform options here.
What happens if something in the bar area runs out?
Most of the time, this does not occur, as we stock our bartending services well in advance. But if a lot of the guests are favoring the same beverage, you may run out of that item. Here are two ways that we can handle this situation.

1. If you are aware that most of your guests prefer one beverage over the others, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can figure that into your event planning.

2. If you are not aware of their beverage preferences and something does run out during your event, we can do a delivery service. To request this additional delivery, contact the event captain and your account executive to notify them. Be aware that there will be no difference in your price whether you requested the additional delivery or not.


What if more guests than originally planned arrived at the event?
Let your account executive and team captain know if more guests are arriving than you had anticipated. We can provide a liquor delivery to accommodate your guests. Even if you do not request a liquor delivery, your invoice will reflect the additional guests at your event. We stock for our bartending services in excess, so additional guests mean more consumption of alcohol.
Can I keep any extra liquor that was not consumed?
We pick up any excess liquor after the event has concluded. Our bartending packages reflect the amount of consumption.
