ABOUT JULIA VALLER

For Julia Valler, service is passion — this is the foundation that Julia Valler Event Staffing was built on. Once upon a time, Julia dreamed of owning her own events business. Watching Jennifer Lopez in The Wedding Planner lit a light inside of her. Now she owns a successful events agency in the heart of NYC.

Julia has been in the events industry for years working various positions for multiple catering companies and event planners. An admitted perfectionist, Julia couldn't help but notice there was room for improvement in the industry. She set out to find other service-hearted people who believe excellence should always be the standard. Among them was her husband, Nick Valler, whose unwavering support and commitment to outstanding service made him an invaluable partner in her vision. Together, they launched the event staffing company in 2013, where Julia serves as the President and Chief Creative Officer, while Nikolay plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence.

Building upon the tremendous success of her NYC location, she expanded her reach, establishing additional branches in Miami, FL in 2021, Los Angeles in 2022, Chicago and Houston in 2023, and Las Vegas in 2024.

Faq

What are the event staff's responsibilities?

Our New York event staffing teams are capable of handling multiple job tasks including assisting with event set up and breakdown, greeting guests, serving drinks and food, serving from a buffet station, and more. Discuss your event with one of our account managers ahead of time, so we can best match the right event staff for your particular event needs.

How can I pay for my event staffing?

We accept payment for staffing for events by either a personal check, cash, credit card, or a wire/bank transfer

Do you include the cost of transportation for the event staff in the billing?

All of our event staff will arrive on time for your event, they will arrive by subway to your event. If they are unable to use this method, we will obtain other means at the lowest additional cost for you.

Do the event staff know exactly what to do, or do I need to direct them?

We recommend to our clients that they hire in addition to the event staff, an event captain to handle the direction of the staff. Otherwise, they will need to be directed by you in order to have your event move without complication. The downside of not hiring an event captain is that you leading the staff, this takes you away from spending time with your guests.
