Typically it is recommended to have 1 waitstaff member per 10 guests at a sit-down dinner event. If you are opting for a cocktail service event, then 2 waitstaff to pass appetizers and drinks with one busser per 50 guests in attendance.

Having enough bartenders at your event depends on the type of bar service you are offering. For a partial bar, you will need 1 bartender for every 75 guests, and for a full bar, 1 bartender for every 50 guests.
