Waitstaff to Serve Food
It is critical to determine the number of waitstaff for hire you will need to employ in order to provide top-level service to your guests at your event. Typically it is recommended to have 1 waitstaff member per 10 guests at a sit-down dinner event. If you are opting for a cocktail service event, then 2 waitstaff to pass appetizers and drinks with one busser per 50 guests in attendance.
Bar Staff
Having enough bartenders at your event depends on the type of bar service you are offering. For a partial bar, you will need 1 bartender for every 75 guests, and for a full bar, 1 bartender for every 50 guests. Depending on the volume of your event guest list, you may be recommended to hire a bar back to restock and clean the bar area.
